EMDR Niagara
Helping you move forward from difficult experiences
Difficult experiences can stay with us long after they happen.
Sometimes they show up as anxiety, panic, emotional overwhelm, overthinking, feeling disconnected from yourself, or constantly feeling on edge. You may know logically that you are safe, but your body and nervous system still react as though something unresolved is being carried underneath the surface.
EMDR therapy helps your brain and body process these experiences in a way that feels more manageable and less emotionally overwhelming over time.
At EMDR Niagara, we offer trauma-informed EMDR therapy in St. Catharines, Welland, Niagara Falls, and across the Niagara Region, with virtual sessions available throughout Ontario. Therapy is focused on helping you process difficult experiences, understand emotional patterns, and move toward lasting change.
Rather than simply pushing past what happened, we slow down and work through it together. Therapy creates space to make sense of difficult emotions, process experiences safely, and reconnect with yourself in a more grounded and meaningful way.
The goal is not just temporary relief, but helping you feel calmer, more connected, and better able to move forward in everyday life.
Our Story
Rooted in understanding, healing, and meaningful change
This work grew out of a deep interest in how difficult experiences can continue affecting us long after they happen. Over time, it became clear that healing is not simply about “moving on,” but about having the space to slow down, process what happened, and reconnect with yourself in a grounded way.
Many people carry anxiety, emotional overwhelm, painful memories, or patterns that feel difficult to fully understand on their own. Sometimes these experiences are connected to trauma, stressful life events, relationships, childhood experiences, or periods of feeling stuck in survival mode for a long time.
What often matters most is not just insight, but feeling safe enough to actually process what has been carried emotionally and physically over time.
EMDR Niagara was created from the belief that people deserve a supportive, compassionate space where healing does not need to feel rushed or overwhelming. Therapy is focused on helping you make sense of your experiences, process what feels unresolved, and move toward lasting emotional change.
If you have been feeling anxious, emotionally stuck, disconnected from yourself, or overwhelmed by experiences that still feel present beneath the surface, you are not alone. This work is here to help you feel more grounded, connected, and able to move forward in a way that feels steady and meaningful.
My approach is rooted in trauma-informed psychotherapy, emotional safety, and meeting people where they are. Therapy is not about quick fixes or surface-level advice. It is about helping you better understand yourself, process difficult experiences at your own pace, and create lasting change that carries into everyday life.
